| FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: Brittany, how is school going?
A: Well, the spring quarter is finally over and
along with it my comprehensive examinations! By the grace of GOD I passed
my exams and am now moving on to stage two of the doctoral process:
the thesis. This summer I will be doing research on various mosquito
related things and writing up my thesis proposal. So, no, I do not have
the summer off.
Q: Wes, how’s the new job going?
A: Wes recently started working for Pioneer Hi-bred
International Inc., a Dupont Company. He mainly works in the “seed
research” department where they plant, observe, and harvest corn.
He enjoys the change of pace from his graphic design and photography
duties. The job allows him to be outside and use his contractor skills
occasionally.
Q: Is Wes still going graphic and photo work?
A: Yes, Wes has a couple of weddings already
booked and is continuing to do graphic and design work. He will be the
busiest during the summer, but his job at Pioneer is scheduled to end
sometime in September or October, so in the winter he will be free to
take on more work…hopefully.
Q: How’s married life?
A: Great! We thoroughly enjoy our home in Woodland
and the 9 wonderful months of marriage that GOD has blessed us with
thus far.
Q: What do you do with your “free time”?
A: HA! Well, we both like to stay busy, so even
after a long days of work we usually spend time building or remodeling
something in the house, go on long walks around Woodland, and enjoy
cooking together. We recently constructed a number of “bug”
pinatas for the Woodland Bible Church picnic and Wes is currently building
specially designed picture frames for the house. We just recently returned
from our 1 week vacation to Disneyland and California Adventure. It
was great fun! We also had the pleasure of going Zip Lining with Diane
on our way back from our trip…thanks Diane!
Q: Are you able to have guests over?
A: We love having people over! We recently had
a birthday party for my friend Aimee and it was great fun. If you are
in the area, please stop by and say hello. We even have an extra room
that we use as a craft room that folks can stay in if they would like
to stay the night. Please feel free to invite yourself over. We even
provide airport shuttle services…no, seriously…if you are
going on an airborne adventure and need to leave your car somewhere…you
can leave it at our house and we’ll drop you off. Sacramento airport
only.
